Sold out!

Beautiful "White Sakura Blossom" kimono set for 69~63 cm boy and girl BJD. It fits perfectly SD16, SD17, SSD, Iplehouse EID and SID, and other similar size dolls.

My kimonos are vintage. All materials I'm using are authentic vintage kimono fabrics from Japan. Obi are made from real obi, obiage are made from real obiage. Obijime are handmade using Japanese kumihimo disc for braiding.

If you like my doll kimonos please visit my Etsy store "Inarisan's Crafts" [link] .

This set includes:
1. Purple nagajuban - inner layer of kimono set.
2. White "Sakura Blossom" pattern kimono.
3. Pretied obi.
4. Obijime with decoration.
5. Obiage.
6. Two cotton ties with woven flowers.

White sakura pattern kimono is made from combined silk and synthetic fiber. The lining is silk taken from original kimono lining. Very interesting is sleeves' lining - it's pure silk, very old and light, bright colors, hand fan pattern. Of course you can see only tiny part of it on the sleeves, but it's good to know about hidden beauty. That is also a Japanese tradition. Kimono decorated with flowers applications and glass pearl beads. Cotton tie added.

Bright purple nagajuban is pure silk. Very thin. Woven pattern and hand colored flowers. Nagajuban is decorated with rosy silk stitches and biser beads. No lining. Cotton tie added.
You can wear the nagajuban as separate kimono or in the other way like outer layer.

Pre-tied obi is easy to put on. It is made from real girl's obi. Why girl's obi? It has small pattern so it fits for doll. Obi band is decorated with flower, chainlets, beads and 2 bells. They are tingling!
Hand-braided obijime with obidome. Well, that's not the real obidome, but obijime's decoration anyway.
And obiage - it was sewn from real pink obiage. Shibori pattern.

If you are interesed in my doll kimonos please contact me. I'm taking orders :)

It's already difficult to sew a kimono, but Anapal manages to make doll kimonos like BJD Kimono for 69-63cm boy and girl dolls. It's impressive how authentic she keeps them, she even uses vintage kimono fabrics and makes sure that the patterns are in the right scale. ( Suggested by ~Yuujin and Featured by ^Talty )

My first kimono I made was human size kimono for my daughter. I wanted to learn how to sew real kimono at first. It wasn.t bad you know ;) . It was the huge mountain of work. Lets leave real sized kimonos for Japanese masters.
